“ For the price you pay, the portion sizes & service are the best I've ever seen or had in most restaurants as of late. While other places are cutting corners, charging extra service fees, and giving portions so small, that it could make a Tapas restaurant faint, Bob & Edith's could give alot of current 5⭐ restaurants a run for their money. If you go during the day, get the "Cheeseburger Sub," if you want an idea of a decent lunch. Make sure you add Bacon! It's so big.. I literally had it for lunch & dinner! A few detractors: Adding anything costs more which I don't mind paying, however the fries never survive the trip across the bridge to National Harbor( where I work)and end up soft almost soggy. Also the bun was super soft as well but I can forgive all of that for an awesome burger..Did I ask for a toasted bun? Or crispy fries? Definitely will next time!! P.S. I gave my co-worker the other half and he liked it so much, that I had to get 2 more this morning!!! Great fast service& food! ”
“ A great 24/7 diner! Nothing too fancy on the menu, but sometimes you don't want fancy. The steak and cheese sub as well as the country fried steak and cheese were both very good! First time I was there they were short staffed and a large group came in, but the young man tried his best to keep up. I wasn't in a hurry so it was fine. Second time everything was smooth. ”
“ Seems to be a great place to get food since it’s open 24 hours a day. We got breakfast (Sp#1 Ham & Cheese Omelet, American, Home Fries, Bacon 2 pancake $15.99 and Sp#3 French Toast, Scrambled egg, Sausage, Home Fries $15.99) here and the food we got was very filling and tasted great. The diner vibe of the restaurant is also very nice. ”
“ 1st time in at little after 11pm… order 2 hot ham n cheeses with a mashed potato n gravy n potato salad..soooo good! Staff was pleasant .. read the other reviews but we had no issues n will def be back !……. Ok*Update! 2nd night .. we had to come back … 9:30pm.. got the double bacon cheeseburger specials with fries and potato salad for 12.95. Pic doesn’t do it justice but the burgers are huge and taste great! Another night of friendly staff and great food! I think this will now be a regular stop every year when we are in town for Padres games! ”
